  • Milton Food Pantry Food Drive & Round-up

During the month of May, Good Works Brewing Co. will be collecting needed items and donations to help support our community. We all know food insecurity is a serious ongoing social issue across this country. It happens for many reasons, too many to detail in this forum. So how can we all help?

    1) Drop off non-perishable foods, personal care items, and cleaning supplies in the taproom during our regular taproom hours. A list of needed items can be found on the fundraiser cover. All items will be delivered by GWBC to the Milton Food Pantry for distribution.

    2) While in the taproom, you can 'Round Up' your tab. All 'Round Up' funds will be donated directly to the Milton Food Pantry.

    3) Can't make it to the taproom? Then please consider a donation through our online fundraiser. All donations go directly to the Milton Food Pantry's parent organization, Milton Community Action Group, for assistance with the purchase and distribution of perishable foods.

If you would like to learn more about Food Insecurity, Feeding America is at the forefront and provides extensive information and resources on how to help.

    Rock County Landmarks Trivia Challenge

June 2 2:00-4:00pm in the GWBC Taproom

Rock County Landmarks…some you see every day and others are only in memory, but do you really know them?

How Well Do You Know Rock County Landmarks? A Think & Drink Local Trivia Challenge presented by Good Works Brewing Company

    The Details:

-Free to play, no pre-registration needed!

-Play as an Individual or Team…it’s up to you! Just arrive by 2 PM and grab a blank answer sheet from the taproom order station when you get your beer, seltzer or root beer. And don’t forget to order The IceShantea right from your table…thinking & drinking requires energy.

-Our own Rock County Landmark Expert (yep, Ryan…it is part of his official duties at the brewery) will present you a series of visual clues from his personal photo collection. These could be landmarks from the past or present; they could be buildings or monuments or natural features. You’ll have a couple minutes to identify the Landmark before the next clues arrive.

-When it’s all said and done, we’ll tally up the scores and determine the winners! 1st, 2nd & 3rd will receive Good Works Brewing Gift Cards.

-But wait, there is a FIND FRANKIE BONUS round! You know Frankie the Stag, the big guy that hangs out on the taproom lounge wall. Here’s how it works…a Frankie likeness will be hidden at one of the landmark location used in the challenge. He’ll be holding a secret code (we hear the oooh’s and aaaah’s already) that you can redeem for a BOGO half off any time during the month of June. Sound difficult? Not as all…There are clues scattered throughout the Challenge on where to find him!
